Mission:

The mission of the Chesterfield Heritage Alliance is to facilitate the cooperative development of sites, facilities and programs among the historical organizations located within Chesterfield County.

Vision:
Chesterfield County will be recognized as a FIRST CHOICE location for cultural tourism.

Purpose:
Chesterfield County has played a vital role in the development of Virginia and the United States. From the founding of an English colony in 1607 to the winning of our freedom during the American Revolution and the great struggle of the American Civil War, Chesterfield County has been in the center of the storm. The Chesterfield Heritage Alliance, a cooperative body of representatives from the historical and cultural organizations of the county, strives to preserve and enhance the history and heritage that has taken place in this unique region of Virginia. Members of the alliance work together to facilitate the development of mutually beneficial programs while helping to develop and promote Chesterfield County as a tourism destination.
