Enjoy an exciting exploration of the site where America’s first iron furnace was discovered — the 1619-22 ironworks on Falling Creek. Tours will be available of the 1619 ironworks and the colonial grist mill. Join in the life of a 17th-century child at Colonial Henricus. Participate in children’s militia drills, help with the Citie’s forge and carpentry shop, learn Colonial era games and do household jobs. Meet and trade items with Powhatan Indian neighbors. Camp Pocahontas

Through activities, and arts and crafts, campers will explore both the life and importance of Pocahontas and the culture of the Powhatan people.
